HOW ABOUT THAT LANCER SOFTBALL TEAM!

2012 Regional Champions

Team Banquet Photos

These lovely Varsity ladies hope to dominate softball Regionals on Tuesday!

Senior Night Tuesday, May 8

This is the senior class that has put Lancer softball back on the "map" so to speak in the Sunflower League. Prior to their freshman year, the Lancers had won just one game in the previous two seasons. Since that time the Lancers have made it to the sub-state championship game twice and posted a 14-8 w/l record the last two seasons.

LANCERS FINALLY GET MEDIA COVERAGE!

Thanks to Tod Palmer of the KC Star for the article in the neighborhood news today (5/5/2012). Great quotes by Caroline Nick, Coach Vaughan and Shannon McGinley. Great photos too!

LANCERS COMMUNITY SERVICE

Members of the Lancer softball team recently volunteered at the "Run For Justice" event Saturday, May 5. Proceeds benefit those in need of legal aid in Western Missouri. Our players served as race monitors at the 5K which took place on the Plaza. Our East team was also able to donate over $90 to the Komen Foundation after collections were taken at our annual Pink Night double-header. Thanks to Lisa Erickson and Linda Slemp for coordinating these events.
